"When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something. "
I was browsing my favourites when I came across this link. This was a transcript of what Steve said during one of the graduation. It sort of hit me. If today were my last day, what would I do? okay to rephrase it, as in what I really want to do, what I may do, what I need to do.
To tell her how much she means to me
Kiss her every night before we sleep (i am not sick K?!)
To marry her (if possible)
To have a date on christmas eve
Change someone's life
Take a nursing dip after my army
Be a teacher (shit need A lvl cert, bias...)
To see the auroa at the poles.
To see touch feel snow
To see autumn leaves turn brown
